A perfect venue and location for The Gardening Show

Llangollen is well signposted from all major routes. On entering Llangollen follow the yellow directional signs to the appropriate entrance / car park.

To print off directions go to theaa.co.uk. Type in your postcode (if you are starting out from home) simply type in LL20 8SW for the show ground destination postcode.

How to get there

The Royal International Pavilion is situated in Llangollen in the beautiful Dee Valley in North Wales. The Pavilion and showground is a unique, multi-purpose venue, perfect for event needs. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Welsh countryside, in its own grounds with ample parking, easy access and superb facilities.

By Road

From the North - From the M56 take junction 15 M53 onto A55 Expressway. Take junction signposted A483 Wrexham and then onto junction signposted A5339 Llangollen. The town is approx 5 miles on.

From the South - Exit M6 at J10a for M54 & Shrewsbury and onto the A5 the London to Holyhead Road, follow signs for A5 past Oswestry on to (10 miles) Llangollen.

The Showground

The show is situated only a short walk from Llangollen Town, where visitors can find a range of activities for everyone including a steam railway & horse drawn canal boat rides. The town also offers a range of shops, restaurants and historical buildings. Pass outs are available

The Showground

Excellent road links provide easy access - upon reaching the outskirts of Llangollen simply follow yellow directional signs

Visitor Car Parking

This year no charge will be levied for use of the show ground car parks. Visitors are asked to take heed of the car park attendants advice and directions - many work on a purely voluntary basis and are there to help you.

Showground Access

To make your day even more enjoyable courtesy show buggies will collect and return visitors from entrances to and from the show ground and car parks.

Show Program

Free to all adults upon admission to the showground

Disabled visitors

Access and facilities available (wheelchair users please note) because of the rural position and nature of the showground there may be a number of ramps and obstacles that wheelchair users may need help with.

Catering

Make time for a rest and sample the delights of a wide variety of food and drink that will be available both indoor and outdoors including a dedicated Pimms Bar.

Music:

Musical performances throughout the weekend including Llangollen Silver Band and Llangollen Male Voice Choir (Sat only)

Plant crèche:

In return for a donation to the chosen charity, experienced staff will provide a secure holding place for any plants and products purchased at the show until you are ready to collect them. A carry-to-your car service is also provide (more info below)

The sell-off:

Although some exhibitors do not participate in the sell off of plants and goods the official show sell of will commence at 4pm on Sunday the 8th of June.

Carry to your car Service

An increasingly popular visitor service, introduced to take the strain out of shopping. Managed by uniformed Air Cadets with wheel barrows donated by Wilkinson Hardware why not allow the cadets to help with the transport of your purchases back to the show car park.
